What this is, and what it isn't.

What we do

We read public market data and issue a dispatch plan twice a day: which hours to charge, which to sell, and the spike forecast behind them. It is built to be one input among several for an operator running energy arbitrage. Each plan is built for one battery: its trading hub, its power and energy rating, and its duration.

What we don't do

• We do not operate anything. There is no execution surface, no control pathway, and no arrangement under which PHAROS acts on a market or on a plant.
• We do not connect to your systems. No hookup, no hardware, no network access, no plant telemetry. Our forecasts run on public data. Your own settlement data, which you already receive, is what the weekly and the fee are measured on.
• We do not give investment or financial advice. Nothing we publish is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, or financial instrument, and we are not a licensed advisor of any kind.
• We do not guarantee outcomes. Not accuracy, not revenue, not availability. See the disclaimer below, which is the operative statement.
• We do not share your reports and schedules with anyone outside of your organization. Your BESS schedule is built specifically for your system, and it stays in house.

How we behave about evidence

Two commitments hold this together and are worth more than any claim we could make about ourselves. First, we published the evaluation we lost, in full, with the protocol fingerprinted before we looked at the data. Second, we run a graded record that accrues day by day and counts the misses next to the hits, on a method we publish in full. If we ever stop doing either of those things, treat everything else on this site with suspicion.

Privacy

This site carries no analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party scripts and no cookies set by us. Nothing on these pages, fonts included, loads from another company's servers. If you send us an inquiry, we use what you send to prepare your read and to reply to you, and for nothing else — we don't sell it and we don't add you to a list. Ask and we'll delete it.

No guarantees. All materials are provided as-is and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or continued availability. Energy markets are volatile and their rules change; a market redesign occurred in the middle of our own sealed evaluation. Past behaviour of any method, ours included, does not establish how it will behave in the future.

No offer. Nothing on this site is an offer, a solicitation, or a binding commitment to provide services on any particular terms. Rates, scope, and terms are established in writing between the parties before any engagement begins, and the written agreement governs.

Your decisions are yours. Any operator acting on information from PHAROS does so on their own judgement and at their own risk, and retains full responsibility for their dispatch decisions, their market positions, their equipment, and their regulatory obligations.

Third-party data. Our work draws on data published by ERCOT and other public sources. We do not control that data and do not warrant it. Where market data is provisional, later restated, or published on a delay, our materials inherit those limitations.
